Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. #PusongCBKYan Series of COVID 19 Relief Support to Hospitals, School and Charitable Institutions

The threat of COVID 19 is still rampant in the country. It paralyzed many business operations and affected many vulnerable sectors  due to the implementation of community quarantine. As part of wehealasone, the 100 years old trusted provider of world class hardware solutions, Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. PusongCBKYan run COVID19 donation drive that supported different institutions like hospitals, charitable organization and education center.

Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. launched #withCBKWeCanHELP whereas for every sale of any promo offers for the whole month of July and August, the hardware distributor will donate PHP 100 to charity organizations. The generated amount after two months  was used to fund the facilities improvement of Centex Manila Elementary School  for Brigada Eskwela.  The elementary school received the donation of hardware and home improvement supplies along with protection kits and educational materials.

Other beneficiaries of #withCBKWeCanHELP campaign were the ill children and elderly of Silungan ng Pag-asa  and GRACES Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and Other Special Cases. Both charity homes received protection necessities against virus.

CBK Hardware brought immediate food and sanitation assistance to the children of Concordia Children Services Inc, in Sta Mesa, Manila and Little Sister of the Poor in Pasay last June 19. Boxes containing medical supplies, foods, vitamins and milks were transported to the mentioned charitable organizations to continuously nourish the children in times of lockdown.

On top of this, CBK Hardware also had a valuable contribution in donating sets of PPEs personal protective equipment to ensure utmost protection will be given the medical frontliners from PGH, DCMC, MCMI, and V. Luna General Hospital on May 12, 2020. It was made possible with our media partner, GineersNow which spearhead the donation campaign “Save Doctors, Save Lives” which adheres to prioritize the health workers workers.

Tracing the COVID 19 kind footnote of  the management of Co Ban Kiat Hardware embarked with the turnover of PPEs personal protective equipment including 200 rolls of packaging tape and 500 pieces of surgical mask to Perpetual Help Medical Center of Binan, Laguna last March 28.
