Following the catastrophic damage of Typhoon Odette last December 2021, Co Ban Kiat Hardware swiftly mobilized emergency financial assistance for the relief and recovery of sixty CBKians affected by the onslaught of the large-scale tropical storm.
A total of Php. 219,000 was turned over to help the sales promodisers in restoring their homes located in the hard-hit areas of Visayas and Mindanao. The humanitarian response of financial distribution began immediately on the third week of December as a small way to lift the spirit of the calamity victims during the festive season.
“It is our responsibility to look after the safety and well-being of our employees by giving them equal opportunities of support, especially during these difficult times. It might be a long road ahead, but CBK Hardware is here to help to get back on their feet as quickly as possible”, shared by Ms. Arcelie Yam, CBK Hardware AVP for Modern Trade Sales.
