Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. Launched 100 Years Donation Drive

Co Ban Kiat Hardware is genuinely dedicated to continuously create valuable contributions towards the society and environment. Hundreds of people in different walks of life benefitted from the intensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, harnessing kind efforts including donating hardware materials for the improvement of its living facilities, conducting feeding program, fulfilling the wish-list, spending and immersing to the neglected ones thus touching their lives and making a difference.

Sharing the advocacies of many charitable institutions and medical bodies, committed to the social welfare, Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. launched  100 donation drive with a core mission to send aid in upgrading the facilities of 100 partner beneficiary groups from different cities across the country for ten months. This campaign was also part of the centennial celebration of Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc.

In this goodwill crusade with a total of ten waves, and  for each wave compromising ten organizations set to receive Php.100,000 worth face masks along with hardware and home improvements necessarily in enhancing the facilities of each institutions to give utmost comfort to the people living under their care.

The first month of the 100 donation fired up last September hitting the city of Quezon City. Dedicated employee volunteers roamed around the country’s largest city and  fulfilled the wish list of each organizations by delivering boxes of protective kits along with facility repair supplies. The following are the beneficiaries of the 100 donation drive first wave: Philippine Children’s Medical Center, Christian Compassion Ministries (CCM), Reception and Study Center for Children, Gentle Hands, St. Vincent De Paul Shelter for Girls, Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, House of Refuge, Norfil, Kythe foundation, INC. and the Kuya Center.

Moreover, Co Ban Kiat Hardware second leg of 100 donation drive  jumped on Manila City  last October 2020, sending assistance to the selected  charitable establishments including Missionaries of Charity Home of Joy for the Sick Children, Onesimo Bulilit Foundation, Caritas Manila, Concordia Children's Services, Laura Vicuna Foundation Inc., Hospicio de San Jose, Asilo de San Vicente de Paul, A Home for the Angels Child Caring Foundation, Inc., Friendship Home Father Luis Amigo Inc. and Bahay Tuluyan. Three employees contributed their time and effort to lead the short turnover of boxes of goods.

Spreading the meaningful commitment of  CBK Hardware to social involvement, the third segment of 100 donation drive stepped outside Metro Manila with Bulacan. The essence of gift giving felt early last November as ten selected institutions accepted the donations amounting Php.100,000  worth of facemasks, face shields and building materials. These are the recipients:  Willing Hearts Orphanage, Bethlehem House of Bread, Sto. Nino Bethany House Orphanage, Bukal ng Buhay Foundation Inc., Hospicio de San Juan de Dios, Lingap Bata Center, Galilee Homes, Bahay Kalinga, Philippine Childrens Mission and Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita.

Turning 100 years, Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc. is not only true to its promise in providing more years of world class hardware solutions but will also remain dedicated in making a difference  with its  philanthropic efforts.
